Australia will welcome its very own brand new cruise ship for the first time when Ovation of the Seas arrives in Sydney for the peak summer season from December 2016. Like its sister ships — Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas — this third ship will feature new-to-the-seas activities such as onboard bumper cars and a skydiving simulator. It also will feature the North Star, a pod that extends up and over the ship for 360-degree views. Inside cabins will feature “virtual balconies” — essentially floor-to-ceiling LCD TV screens linked to a camera mounted on the outside of the ship. It also will feature the wildly innovative entertainment space, Two70, which integrates HD-digital technology with singing, dancing and acrobatics.

Technologically very advanced and entertainment excellent. Many passengers - sometimes difficult to get a seat in buffet dining area at breakfast and lunch as well as in popular bars.
Loved everything about the trip, food excellent, staff friendly and helpful
The decor and design of the ship makes it a pleasure to be on board . There were many different entertainment options to choose from each day. Staff went out of their way to make us feel special and although there were over 4000 passengers on board the ship always felt spacious.
Enjoyed the ship very much. Excellent arrangements for boarding and disembarking
I have just come off The Ovation of the Seas and I would like ton say this ship is the best Ive been on. My husband and I do 4 cruises a year on differant lines, and this was one of the best. Already bookes another cruise on this one for 2018. Loved it.
An amazing ship and despite the size it was easy to navigate around the ship. Facilities were great and although the ship was full on our cruise it didn't feel like there were about 5,000 passengers on board. The adult only solarium was a fantastic place to get away from it all. We have cruised many times with Royal Caribbean and although this was an incredible ship, our preference would be on a smaller cruise ship, like the Mariner or Voyager next time.
I thoroughly enjoyed most of everything on the Ovation but truly hated having to book for 'everything' this is okay if u r okay with technology & well versed with the Royal App we asked a few people to help us at the Help Desk but because of large line ups - they appeared to feel that it was just 'too easy & a waste of time??
My husband and I have cruised on a few different cruise lines, all of which were either great or fantastic. This includes The Royal Carribean but The Ovation Of The Seas was lacking in so many ways.On the last night the ship was like a ghost ship, most people were in bed early as nothing was happening no atmosphere no entertainment nothing. Along with everybody else we were very disappointed. The ship was clean and sterile, not much else you can say about it.
Wasted a lot of time in line-ups.
